About my ART:
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always gotten a real high from
being able to create something new. My creations for the first part of
my life were in a corporate business setting, which of course carried
defined boundaries.
Today, through my art I have the freedom to create in a world without
boundaries. I love to experiment and everyday I’m exploring and
learning.
My paintings, range from telling you a story, to letting you find, your
own story within my work. I love bold bright colors and the freedom to
experiment, and even break a few rules.
My “Organized Chaos” Series, were influenced by a period in my life where I was being pulled in many directions, feeling lost and confused at times, and yet always striving for a sense of balance and control.
I am first and foremost, “an amateur with a cause”, to raise funds
though my art, for cancer research. I do this, in memory of my Mom
who died with cancer on June 13, 2009, after a most valiant fight. AND
also in memory of my Dad, who also died with cancer Sept 18, 2010.
I feel very blessed to be able to do something I truly love and in the
process contribute to a cause that is dear to my heart.
I’m also the proud founder of the ART for Cancer Group , a team of
artists from around the globe who also donate a portion of their art
sales to their local cancer charity.
ART for Cancer Foundation
On April 6, 2011, I took the net big step on what I’ve come to refer to as the journey of hope, by launching
the ART for Cancer Foundation.
The ART for Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to improving the qualify of life of people living with cancer, by providing an outlet for creative expression through the arts and by supporting research into the cause, control and cure of cancer.
